We have posted our final work on Facebook and this is the feedback we've received. We've gotten both positive and negative criticism and it is clearly helping us give the right type and amount of final touches to our product.

We wanted to work with authenticity and accuracy therefore, we chose to send a proposal through Gmail, for permission to use The official singers song, in all rights and means accessed.

My group and i finally built our website in relation to the uprising use of social media, we planned to expand our promotion by creating a website that looked into our artists' life, as well as, promote the song that she sang. We constructed this website to expose the inner feelings of our singer and her feelings towards 'runaway'

As little as it seems, today we began a foremost task of Our Music Promotional Package, positioning our clips chronologically in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. We had faced a couple of difficulties in regard of following our story board, however, we managed to handle our editing in a rather civilized manner. We took turns in handling the editing and sequencing, color grading and lumetery tools were used from After effects as well as, premiere pro CC. We build an ambiance and a vivid imagery of emotions through our editing, gladly my group and i were finally getting our ideas into action.

Our Second day of shoot has been a tiring day, we've videotaped at Rawal Dam, but since there was no clean water there, we could not create the story we had planned in our storyboard, we had to make slight chances. We shot rest of the scenes sketched at the designated place and have planned to add a few more shots for her lip syncing,



Since our shoot was outside and there was a lot of natural light available, we used 30 and 18 to 140 mm lens with the camera settings at ISO 200 and f 1.8.

Shoot Day 1

 After checking the weather forecast plenty of times and waiting for one reasonably sunny day, we had planned to schedule our first day of shoot at F-9 park today on the 16th Feb 2017. All the planning was easily put forth into directions with the help of our storyboard and planning scheme which we kept on paper with us at all times. Today's shooting involved the child's scenes too, it was somewhat a sensitive task but we all managed to handle it quite remarkably. However, a few of scenes couldn't have been shot unfortunately, so we've left them for another day when our child star happens to be free.

Since it was a bright sunny morning, it deemed proper to set our camera at IOS 100 with f 1.8. We also used a 30 mm lens and happened to give us excellent results.

BYZANTIUM RECORDS

The story behind our video is getting lost in 'mindscape' in other words, getting lost in escaping the perpetual cages of ones' thoughts . We held a group meeting specially for the purpose of concluding a record label name, something just as complex as the mind. After putting our heads together at it for a couple of minutes, it popped into our heads, a person once said "Literary philosophy" won't lead us anywhere with Media; we had something, something just as adequate as to describe us and prove him wrong beautifully; An island that never sunk but sank; lost but never found; alone but never deserted, we present to you Byzantium. Thus, came into making the Byzantium Records. 

Locations: 

My group and i have been exposing locations,that make it easier for the audience to apprehend the meaning behind "Runaway". We believed that disclosing many locations shows how our 'subject' is lost; understand why she is lost.

Building our Portfolio

In between our filming our project, we took out the time for a major event hosted by our school; BMI Media Fest. It was an opportunity to put our talents on stage. Therefore, we've decided to take part in the category "Public Advertisement." Our idea was infused by the risk of smoking and how the money wasted on harming ones' own body, could be employed for helping the needy. We bring on screen a young boy who begs for money, but our hero, refuses and decides to risk that cash on his health. In the eyes of our audience, we tried to prove how humanity is wearing off to the levels of extinction, by moral means,
"We don't pay to save lives, but to destroy our own"

However, along with this, i also participated in the photography competition, to test my skills, in portraits as well as scenic photography, with a passionate view of photography, i tried to give it my best shot.
